RasterVideo is a single-slot SBus card that brings live video to thedesktop. The video is controlled by on-screen controls with freeze-frameand frame-grabbing capabilities. The video image is scalable from 1/8Xto full screen.RasterVideo was designed to accept three video sources giving users achoice of which input source to watch. Video input is accepted from twocomposite connectors and one S-video connector. Users may choose NTSC,PAL, or SECAM formats.Connectware is also developing several add-on modules for the RasterVideocard that will enable enhanced video applications, hardware assistedcompression/decompression and a high performance interface to broadbandLANs based on Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM). These modules aredaughterboards that will plug into a special feature connector alreadypresent on RasterVideo.
